Okay, here I go:
01. Quina Quen [FFIX]
Quina's 'blue magic' are some of the strongest in the entire series.
Quina has a fair defense and her/his offense is not too bad either.
02. Aeris Gainsborough [FFVII]
A character whose beauty is only outshone by her ability to protect
and heal others. A true survivor, Aeris Gainsborough.
03. Ellone Loire [FFVIII]
Although she's not used in battle, Ellone is a complex girl with
a special power. With her amazing capability and complex past,
Ellone remains one of the most beloved characters ever.
04. Vivi Ornitia [FFIX]
One of the most beloved characters to have ever graced the screen.
Vivi is a young black mage seeking the meaning of his existence.
Vivi has powerful magic spells which he uses to crush his enemies with.
05. Squall Leonhart [FFVIII]
Time to play with the big guys.
Squall is an unusual strong person whose amazing fighting skills are only being held back by his lack of humanity.
Squall has one of the strongest limit breaks in any Final Fantasy game.
06. Cloud Strife [FFVII]
Perhaps the most complex character to have ever appeared in any game.
Cloud is a very dedicated person, a person whose devotion is only perceived by his sorted past.
07. Reina Tycoon [FFV]
A girl with a passion.
A girl who always manages to create a situation where she doesn't have the control.
Despite of her faults, Reina is one of my favorite characters ever.
08. Princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVII [FFIX]
A very dedicated young lady whose ability to care sometimes gets her into trouble.
In my opinion Garnet is one of the most beautiful characters in the entire series.
