Can anyone help me think of some of them? I'm looking for the names of games released pre-Pentium (DOS-based games). Any kind of short description of the game would be great, too.

Bow before the mighty Javoo!
X-Wing?
And, what's more important? Are you using "pre-pentium" as a synonym for "DOS games) (it's not) or do you actually have a 386 or something lying around that you want to play games on?

Um... Galaga?
Stargate for the NES
I'll probably be using DOSBox. I'm looking for something preferrably more on the sci-fi adventure-rpg side than 1st person space shooter or RPG, though. Kind of like Dune, although that was more strategy-rpg... but keep 'em coming.![]()
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
Space Quest!
I could never figure out what to do.![]()
Elite
You should know what it is.

Its like one of the first 3D games ever. Its a 3D space trading simulator. I've never played it personaly but I dont have a pre pentium system either :P. Im sure it was on quite a few formats but the only one I know off hand is the BBC micro. Piccy

Elite was more a NES game than anything, and besides, Elite II : Frontiers was WAAY better, you could actually MANUALLY dock your ship without a docking computer, unlike Elite where it was impossible and if you tried you just crashed and died in a horrble mangled wreck =(
But yes, Elite II, or any of the Realms of Arkania games.
