Keyboard Question

So I was playing this a year ago, and I decided that I want to start playing it again. Unfortunately, the computer I was running it on broke and the one I've got now isn't good enough to run it, so I'm going to get the PS2 version.

My question is, any old USB keyboard will work with this game, right? Trying to communicate through controller is an unrivaled pain in PSO, and since the PS2 has USB ports, I'm hoping I won't have the same problem here.

You can use any keyboard that has a USB connection.
