why could`nt cloud jus use a phoenix down on aeris when she was killed???????

This should have a spoiler warning just in case someone has been living on a different planet for the last 7 years. Phoenix Downs remove KO (knock out = unconcious). Aeris was stabbed and died as a result of that injury. She was not KO'd as in battle, she was physically killed. And no, Revive or Phoenix would not work either.

As I said previously, the characters do not die in battle, they are knocked unconcious. Phoenix Downs, Revive magic and Phoenix only remove KO. There is nothing in the game that can bring people back from the dead.
And that's that.
