    Post Final Fantasy Re-makes

What is everyones opinion on this:

"Should Square delve deep and allow FF remakes to be produced, much like those of the Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid?"

FFI and FFII were remade for the WonderSwan Color and the PlayStation.
FFIV was remade for the WonderSwan Color.
FFIII is in the process of being remade for the Nintendo DS.

    It's no big secret.

For me, updated graphics really aren't important. 2D graphics are great in their own right, so I'm only interested in remakes if it makes something available to me that I couldn't get before (i.e., I don't have an NES, so no FFI or II.)

I agree with Azar. I actually love sprites. It wouldn't feel the same if the graphics were updated....although it would definitley be cool, especially if they had voices. Although I'd like SE to stick with making new games for awhile, and stay away from the re-makes until they're really needed again.

An advantage of re-makes is that they don't need to waste the time of SE's experienced staff. (i.e. Tetsuya Nomura, Nobuo Uematsu, etc.) They just need programmers, graphics designers and voice actors, therefore they could make more games and re-makes.
There are 10 kinds of people. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
