This new tape confirms the whole "they hate our freedomz!!1" argument for attacking us is complete cow dung.

He accused President Bush of misleading Americans by saying the attack was carried out because al-Qaida "hates freedom." Bin Laden said his followers have left alone countries that do not threaten Muslims.

"We fought you because we are free .... and want to regain freedom for our nation. As you undermine our security we undermine yours," he said.

It will be interesting to see how both parties try to spin this in their favor.

I think they are smart. By trying to get the people to vote for Kerry, they are undoubtingly going to attack as if he should be. (My theory) They know Kerry's weaker, and has less experience. They know this, so they put down Bush. It is to their advantage; not to Kerry's.

Really now. I've been hearing this all election season and quite frankly I'm tired of it. This is of the same thread of thought that brought us the ever popular "waving the bloody shirt" in which the entire Civil War was blamed on the Democrats. It's like the whole Hitler thing.
