Unless you are reffering to the below argument that I have picked apart, you have no basis for this. You cannot tell if Squall would be good at math or whatever, all you know is that he was smart enough to pass garden's written test which many students failed.

No one in their right minds would ignore the possibility that they were wrong in this kind of situation. Being wrong could get Squall into serious trouble. Plus, why did he have to want to have a relationship with Quistis, they do not have opposite personalities, so it likely would not have worked out. By the way, the threw herself at Squall statement is incorrect. If you remember on disk 2 she says "I had to hide my feelings because I was an instructor". As you can see, she hid them well enough to give quite a lot of doubt in Squall's mind.

I thought Squall was amusing and interesting, and certainly not weak or dumb. What makes you say he was weak?,and how does him not being attracted to Quistis make him dumb? At Trabia garden Quistis says she thought she loved Squall, but now she'd realised that it was a sisterly love. So Squall was right not to have a relationship with Quistis anyway.

I suppose I would be either Squall or Zell. When I am around my friends I act more like Zell, energetic and happy. Also, I would probably be the only guy uncool enough to fight monsters with his hands. (Zell is still cool, though.) When I am in large groups, I act more like Squall, contemplating what people say and second-guessing myself. I become pretty cynical, too. I do not really want be a leader to my friends, but they always want to come to my house when we hang out. Does that make me the leader? Or just a fun guy to be around? Either? Also, I am like Squall with the ladies. I don't have time to waste playing their stupid mind games. Plus I'd like to spend time learning how to use that gunblade. I'd develop some mad skills with that thing. When I got real good with one, I'd practice on my off hand. Then I'd build up my arms and duel-wield those suckers.
