Yeah, Wakka's overdive is great, but you need his Celstial weapon don't you to get 12 x 99,999. But if you have the Magus sisters, and summon them in overdrive, they will defeat almost any opponent in one move (only the dark aeons and special bosses will survive the attack)

99, 999 x 12 = Some number that even a genius would not be able to figure it out.

I don't think there's any real argument to be had here. Wakka is by far head and shoulders above the rest. Not only does his Overdrive do a tonne of damage but you get it REALLY early. Attack Reels can be obtained in your first voluntary Blitzball game so you can start using it as soon as you leave Luca.

I guess it depends on how powerful your characters are. For instance in a NSG game Rikku's is by far the best overdrive, but if you max your characters then wakka's is the best. (still no better than quick hit though because it doesnt get the celestial weapon damage bonus )

Someone smart enough to use a calculator to figure that out. And if you didn't then you're just good with numbers.

I am partial to Auron's overdrives, they just look cool.

wakkas is the strongest but i find aurons to be really helpful. banishing blade is my favorite overdrive!
