In Kingdom Hearts, there were characters from FFVII, FFVIII, and even FFX, yet none from FFIX. Although I was not very fond of the game, I would've enjoyed it if Vivi or Dagger were in the game.

I did. I wanted to fight Steiner in battle.
EDIT: And I'm surprised they didn't have Vivi, considering his psycho popularity amongst FF-ers.
Vivi was used in the staff design if you look close enough. I would have liked to have him in my party to do a little flaring of sorts upon riku in hollow bastion.... mehehehe
I believe that a different person designed the characters in IX than in the other games (VII, VIII, X, KH), that's why his aren't in there. I cannot remember where I got this from.

Well, Del, all you have to do is look on the packages for the games. I believe Tetsuya Nomura designed VII, VIII, and X's characters, while Shukou Murase designed IX's. I could be wrong about the second guy, though.

Err, Jalbrean mentioned a long time ago that the characters present were from one designer while the ones that are not present were from the other guy, hence why they are not in there. BUT KH2 seems to have some FFX characters in it. Auron xD

I think It would be sweet to see little Black mages from FF led by Vivi in an FF world called Black Mage Village
Also the White mages would live there
Oh, oh and Amarant would be a boss in the colissium

OOOHHH and Eiko and Dagger would give you more summon gems
OOOOH -suffers appedicitus- and Freya would rule her little world of Cleyra
Oooh ooh Cleyra and Land of eternal rain (can't remember, don't really care)
AND FINALLY KUJA, NECRON AND GARLAND RIDING SILVER DRAGON as
1 sideboss (It would be a little tough)
How about Kefka and Cecil and Golbez and Locke and Kain and all of them? I would have liked to see them transfered to 3D glory.
Yeah, it's because Yoshitaka Amano designed the characters for FFI-VI and IX, while FFVII, VIII and X were designed by Tetsuya Nomura. Tetsuya Nomura was also the character designer for KH. Because of this, Amano's characters will probably unfortunately never be used in a KH game. This saddens me greatly because I think it'd be awesome to have some of the other FF characters in the games, like maybe having Cyan or Yang on your team along with Beast or Mulan or someone equally cool.
I could give a..um...a something obscene about the main characters of ff IX, but yeah, i'd give my left nut for VIVI, Amarant and Freya to be up in there. HOORAH POINTY HATS AND MOODY PEOPLE!

Steiner and Vivi would have been perfect replacements for donald and goofy. A knight that fights with a shield.

But i think Del is right. I have sense chucked my IX for it no longer worked, but I believe i read that somone else designed IX.
