*Sigh* Bush has been winning like burning and that saddens and frightens me.

EDIT: Oops, I complete forgot how electoral colleges worked, for a second there, so forget I said that thing about Bush winning.

I highly respect the people who register but refuse to vote until the give us a candidate thats worth the time it took to fit his armani suit. Its when you don't bother to even register and get invovlved at all that you really shouldn't be complaining.
If you REALLY wish to make a statement, you go to the polls and click "No Vote" then click vote then leave.

And you have to remember, there are lots of people that register because they ask you to when you go for any form of governmentally controlled identification. A lot of people I know only registered cause they could.

I see refusal to vote the same as refusal to use a tool your given to do a certain job. Like my step ladder at work. I'm barely over five feet tall, so it's really nonsensical of me to try and reach the tall shelves without a step ladder.

There's always a candidate who will speak up for what you believe in to a certain extent. S/He won't encompass all your values, because who really can, but they can still be a decent voice for what you believe.

I think people's involvement in their world should be equal to their tendency for complaint.

    Signature by rubah. I think.

I was more interesting in voting on the propositions then for president, which is why I voted 3rd party.

Before anyone gets too worried, the states Bush has won are states he was predicted to win. The states that are up in the air, often called the battleground states, are what is really going to determine this. Most of those states are still yet to be called.

Plus, Kerry is expected to win California, which has something like 55 electoral votes.

This thread is not the area to whip out my split personalities, so I'll just leave it like this. And I am not too pleased by the latest results either. I hope a large change occurs soon, or... *hides in corner*
