I don't think it is possible to purchase the complete soundtrack for any of the Final Fantasys in a U.S. store. I searched for almost a year before looking for a way to buy it online.

I got my FF8 soundtrack from http://www.gamemusic.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/GMOStore

They are a really reputable source, and your meathods for paying are great if you're new to buying things online (i.e. you can print out a form and send in a check rather than using PayPal or a credit card).

I get all my FF soundtracks from there, and it rocks.
