The 2004 US Presidential Election Drinking Game!

So this forum needs some reason for me to visit it. Seeing as there is none as of yet, I decided to create one.

The objective of this thread is simple. Put together a simple set of rules that involve drinking and watching the electoral college counts slowly tick upwards into inebriation around 5 pm PST (I think) today. So I'll start.

1. When a state is won, the number of drinks is ceil(votes/10) (from a beer, NOT shots, so a gulp is 1 drink).

2. If the state goes to a candidate you did not vote for, you have to drink twice as much as specified in #1.

3. If the state goes to the candidate you voted for, you take the number of drinks specified in #1.

4. If you did not vote, you either don't play or drink continuously until you pass out.

I'm not too sure about these rules, so modifications are welcome - especially the number of drinks formula.

And I sure as hell voted, so I am sure as hell drinking.

Omit the "if you did not vote" and apply to everyone.
