To be fair here, This is a FFT question game, and the real life history behind certain swords isn't really about FFT. I know we're getting scrapped for ideas, but lets get creative.

I'll guess Nogias, which at it's tallest is 24 vertical units above 0. I suspect there may be a taller one, but I don't know the vertical distance for that one.

I checked some areas that might have been higher and none of them were. The only one I could not check is the (SPOILER)2nd battle with Zalmo when he is on that high church. Thats the only other that *might* possibly be close, other than that you are right.

I believe the first is... Riovanes Castle? The Gafgarion fight. I'm not sure about the other one, but I think it's in the battle where you fight all those chemists when going to find Reis.
