SEXY McAWESOME TO YOU, MISTER
I agree with War Angel and Spiff. Why would you leave if the person you elected didn't win? I mean, the world isn't gonna end, and if it is, I can assure you moving to a different country won't do anything.
All I've been seeing these past few days is "I'm moving to Canada!" Well, what if the next person who runs Canada or something is like George Bush? Then what? Are you gonna stop your life there and country hop? I find it a bit silly.
But maybe that's because I can't even move in the first place.
I can't move yet and if I were to move I would need to do a TON of reasearch to find a job and houseing. Make sure it is okay with a significat other. Look at taxes. Look at the cost of living.
There is so much that goes into moving that you really need to be prepared to move in a huge way. There is more to it than filing papers and finding a place to work and live. Heck. This pretty much applies if you are moving across America. If you live in main and move to Arizona there is going to be a lot of differences.
I agree with Spiff. You'll never get your way if you just run away from the problem.
And I'd like to remind you all of the announcement ShlupQuack made yesterday about the "american's are idiots" and what not comments. Don't do that.
Mr Thou! Mr Thou!
People saying that they're going to move to Canada and actually doing it are two different matters entirely. Like the article said, I don't expect this to really be a big issue.
With Bush in charge, I wouldn't be suprised if it does.Originally Posted by Rye
Now, I'm not going to plan on moving out right away, but the moment things get significantly worse, such as Bush threatening to invade Iran, or another law like the patriot act gets passed, I'm leaving immediately.
And just by leaving doesn't mean people won't vote in the next election; they do have absentee ballots for that.
Sig under construction.
Pfft, I'm moving to Antarctica. No one but scientists and penguins live there. You guys are silly! Silly emoticons.

I just want to clarify that I have intended to move to the UK for a while now abd for the record I like Bush so he has nothing to do with me moving![]()
Yeah! You can be a sore loser in Australia too! Like when said Brits beat you in the Rugby World Cup, you can demand that the rules of the game are changed! Fun for all the family!Originally Posted by Mo-Nercy

I mean the world isn't goint to endNo, no, no. You have it all wrong. The bible says the worlds gonna end after the middle east finds peace. You don't believe Bush will make peace over there in the next four years do you. (Just for the record I'm not pro- or anit- Bush)With Bush in charge, I wouldn't be suprised if it does.
