Amusing you say that, considering you've posted here four times already.
SEXY McAWESOME TO YOU, MISTER
Ok, first of all,
Citizen Bleys, Liberals won for a reason. We didn't want to go to war against Iraq or Koreo or freakin' Mars. I do agree at some standpoints what the Conservatives and the Bloc Quebecois. But all politics come down to one denomination. That is power.
Bush knows this, and he's taking advantage of it. I'm not saying he's bad for the US or good for it, all I'm saying is that he is going to exploit the oil from Iraq after this is swept under the rug... In my opinion, and the opinion of OVER HALF OF CANADA, Kerry should have won. Too bad we couldn't vote.
I'm completely neutral to the States. Dear God, please don't let Bush declare war on Canada for my message... P.S. Don't rename Canadian Bacon "Freedom Pork". :rolleyes2
A whine is a whine is a whine.
Good idea, 'Mark'.
EDIT: Wait someone did it already.

How do you, as a Canadian, feel about the website? Do you think it's a stupid idea, a good idea, or are you indifferent?Originally Posted by Cloud_Strider

Why do people seem to think this is democrates whining? We are extending our hand out to the world, and letting them know that Bush's ideals arent supported by all of us. And a few of them have extended their hand right back
With a friendship beer in it.![]()
See, fools? We get beer, and you mean ole Bush supporters dont! xD
OK! for one thing, if you want to take away the few things we have left, go for it, because ShlupQuack, don't take this by any means personal, I don't want to be attacking anyones opinion because you are all entitled to one.
Canada has always been there... After Britain declared war on Germany is WW1 AND 2, Canada was right behind them... It was only when America saw it an actual threat towards themselves that they retaliated... In 1972 Canada WAS the #1 peacekeepers in the world, but unlike Bush, I pray Martin doesn't send our fathers, brothers, and sons to Iraq or Afghanistan with guns blazing. Bush is creating a new war... But I don't think its for the imaginary arms in Iraq... has anyone proven their existance yet?![]()
P.S. CloudSquallandZidane, I accept a beer from you... Molson Freedom.. doesn't have the same ring to it...
Uh, I voted for Bush and I get plenty of beer.Originally Posted by TheAbominatrix

Thing with politics is, you can't ever give up on them or decide that they ultimately don't work because the only way the world moves forward is if we understand politics correctly and make it work, regardless of who side you take.
The problem with this world is that the youth have next to no interest in politics and thus are ignored completely, which in turn makes them even less interested. It seems that only later on in life when you begin to take interest, do politicians begin to care or make decisions that can benefit the people. If we really want to change the world, rather than shun politics or just say, "We'll care once every four years", instead stay active and involved, get yourself right into the middle and see what a big difference you can really make. Our biggest obstacle right now is complacency, we have to continually be willing to stick it out and fight for what will ultimately win the day, rather than once again become passive and dormant.
Granted, that doesn't mean we have to all stay active, I'm fine if people don't really care that much, as we're all entitled to our opinions and our beliefs, but that has to go both ways. Those who wish to care and stay active can and those who don't are free not to, but to judge either side against the other, to me, is dangerous at best.
Take care all.
