Scott Peterson was tried in a situation where he was guilty untill proven guilty.

Don't get me wrong, I believe he did it, but I must protest the way the media handled themselves. I mean for the love of God! a TV movie portraying in no uncertain terms his guilt before the thing had even gone to trial? How in Heaven or Hell is any Jury supposed to remain objective and unbiased in such a case?

Normally I think very poorly of the press. After all this crap, I'm going to start writing to Congress to ask them to introduce legislation to keep the media's noses out of court proceedings until after a verdict has been reached. Let them print whatever they want. but not till after the fact. still freedom of the press, but the press' freedom isn't impinging on the freedom of everybody else.

Unless of course Justice and fair trials don't mean much to people anymore.
