In many cases, felony proceedings are closed doors anyways, at least in this state. I suppose the State of California has different laws, but still. Why is it even somebody else's business who is being tried for what? If the accused is out on bail, they could institute a mandatory disclosure or something, say if it's an embezzeler applying at a bank.

The media doesn't care about truth or fairness or justice or ANY thing. All they care about is selling papers or getting expensive funding contracts. This just isn't right. media in the US = bad. real bad.
