Anyway, I'd probably agree with 'Kishi and go for O-Ren's parents, though Palpatine's end in ROTJ was pretty cool too. If I could choose my death, I'd want to fall into a near-bottomless pit while shooting lightning from my fingers.

but I would posit that Gandalf's death in the first one is a very powerful scene.

actually some of the coolest death scenes ever are in a horrible B movie called Cube - it's about some people who get trapped inside a giant cube and have to escape.
