It's a shame that Powell is leaving, that administration is, as The Captain said, heading further and further into hardline conservatism, which scares me quite a bit. Hopefully the democrats can reclaim their hold on another branch, right now the left is fearfully underrepresented.
I wonder who Bush will choose to replace Greenspan. I do believe his 14 years are almost up.
One would usually think Bush would choose someone else who who'd be fiscally conservative, but all these Neo-Conservatives seem hellbent on spending us into oblivion.
