Ya know, the predominance of cultist behaviors in today's american society is an interesting thing. It would seem to imply that people are searching for something that cannot be found outside the cult.
These cults can and often are really abusive and unhealthy places for people to grow up. yet people remain. Methinks because they derive meaning in the teachings/practices of this cult.
what is the meaning of life? who can say.
but everybody needs to have meaning IN life.
