Unhappy Videogame/Anime/etc. deaths that have affected you...

chaos: Ever had an anime you watched where you find your main character die in a bloody explosion? Or perhaps a TV show or a movie?

Rubedo: It may sound corny, but if they feel realistic, it doesn't make you feel all too happy. If any did, post here. For us, seeing Nikkoru in Kiduo Senshi Gundam SEED die in episode 29 saddened us. Especially when they played a vocal during his death...

Eh... Occasionally in movies, never in a video game (not yet at least). and often in books. When I read Dragonlance books I cry fairly regularly.

It affects me very much when my character dies about 43 times in a row.

On Megaman X when that munter with long hair died. Actually, I got sad because I knew I'd have to fight his murderer next. Who murdered me

Me too! I :<3: Weis and Hickman.

I remember getting teary eyed at the end of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, when Maxim and Tia (I hope I got the names right, it's been a while) died and their separate energies flew off together.

In one of the Pokemon movies this Pokemon called Latios dies because he had to save the city he was in and his sister, Latias. Latios used all of the power he had. It overwhelmed him and killed him. Before Latios really goes, he and Latias touch each other's hands. He really leaves forever after that. It was touching and sad. It made me cry really hard. It still does.

I see what you mean. I hate it when my favorite character dies as well. It sucks sometimes.

In the Joan of Arcadia 'Friday Night' episode, I cried when (SPOILER)Judith died. I was sad for a few days after that, even though it's just a TV show.
