Sleep music
I was reading something a long time ago about how playing certain types of music or sounds can help you sleep and can even put you out rather quickly. What music or sounds can do this for me? It was a thing on 20/20 so I think it states a specific type or something.
BJ always falls asleep watching South Park, so I've gotten used to that. I prefer just having a fan on though.
I typed "yoga" into KaZaA and downloaded a lot of yoga songs. They're very relaxing.
I can't sleep whilst listening to music - by body can't seem to cope with the extra noise.
I guess it's just what I'm used to.

I've grown up being used to falling asleep to heavy metal and the smell of smoke.
white noise ( waterfalls, water sounds, etc. there's lots of ambience and ambient music on the internet)

Personally I can sleep through a bomb blast. I was at a friends a long while ago and opposite his house a car bomb went off (target was a branch of a bank it was an IRA job) I never woke up. But music wise I listen to anything I want nothing has stopped me sleeping before.
I don't like slow music...I fall asleep listening to techno!!!!

I can't seem to fall asleep with music playing. I always end up singing along or moving to it. :P
I've fallen asleep listening to everything from chillout to punk. Music tends to stop you from 'thinking too much', which tends to be the thng that keeps you awake. As long as you can lose yourself in the song, listening almost subconsciously, it should help you fall asleep.

i fall asleep to final fantasy soundtracks, braveheart soundtrack, lotr. anything that has no lyrics, otherwise you get involved in singing along in your head and you can't sleep.
my friend likes to put on a movie to send her to sleep. it's a good idea coz watching movies makes you sleepy (anyone else ever noticed that?) and when you're tired enough you can close your eyes and the tv will switch itself off (god bless the inventor of the sleep timer!)

As much as I love Pink Floyd, they always have the tendency to put my to sleep as well.

When I leave my apartment and come back or go to sleep, I like to hear Brilliant Road from Star Ocean 3: 'Till the End of Time playing. Not so much when I go to sleep, though.
