Q: Favorite Odd Music? My answer...Blonde Redhead. Yours??
A week or so ago I attended a concert by the utterly talented indie band, Blonde Redhead, comprised of a female art student from Japan and twin Italian males. Their sound is very distinct, and possibly a bit of an aquired taste. I knew their music beforehand, but I am completely enamoured now. Therefore, I commande you to try some. I recommend the albums Misery is a Butterfly or Melodie Citronique...
(The opening band Helio Sequence was excellent as well)

Most of the music I listen to would be classed as "odd" by most people.
But one of the most original bands I've ever heard is "Janus".
And it's also definately one of if not the best band I've ever heard.
I can't describe the music as every song sounds different
and if you listen to all their albums you get to hear influences from basicly all genres there is.
But there is also a constant Janus sound in every song and the vocalists voice is very unique.
I also listen to a lot of folk/medieval metal and Neue deutsche härte which most people find nothing but weird.
Although the weirdest band I've ever heard is Stalaggh, but they also suck.
My favorite is I Hate You When You're Pregnant (www.ihywyp.com), one guy with a drum machine in women's clothing 'rapping'.
