But what about poor little south east asia!!!!
i have been waiting like forever for it to come here (Malaysia. congratulations to whoever who know this country)
but it never did???
what is square enix expansion plan???
or maybe wat the heck is sony doin???
they are not even selling the network adaptor here yet!!!
and i swear if FFXII comes to malaysia faster than FFXI im ... im... im..

Take up another hobby that has nothing to do with Final Fantasy.

It worked for me. These days, I couldn't give a darn about Final Fantasy games.

I know Malaysia as well, I knew a couple people from there when I lived in Indonesia.

Import the game for PC. If that doesn't work, and if you want to spend lots of cash, import a PS2 ("The new slimmer more capable PS2"), the Network Adapter and the HDD with FFXI. It'll cost a lot, but if you're that desperate... >_>

if you had several years to invest in the project, you could translate the software for malasian. I saw a few copies of translated games, though they were for the GBA and nowhere near as complex as FF XI... no network adapters either, hm? hmmm. you know, you probably could spend all the money to get it from Japan or China (who's cutting a deal with SquareEnix as we speak I hears ) and get all the hardware you need and spend several small fortunes on a connection to get into one of the game servers only to find there's some kinda stupid regional filter thing that makes it impossible to use outside of ... like... Alabama.. or something.

or at least that would happen to me were I in your shoes. I have horrible bad luck.
