I've just had some interesting information passed over to me from Award RSL. Currently...
Five Ciddies are tied (including a three-way tie)
The leading finalists in seven Ciddies are seperated by just one vote.
The leading finalists in six Ciddies are seperated by just two votes.
The leading finalists in six Ciddies are seperated by just three votes.
And after a quick check on those...
One Ciddie has five finalists within three votes of the leader.
One Ciddie has four finalists within three votes of the leader.
Five Ciddies have three finalists within three votes of the leader.
Seven Ciddies have two finalists within three votes of the leader.
Ten Ciddies have just one finalist within two votes of the leader.
For the remaining twentysix, there are often members just four or five votes behind...
The leading finalists in six Ciddies are seperated by just four votes.
The leading finalists in six Ciddies are seperated by just five votes.
The leading finalists in three Ciddies are seperated by six votes.
The leading finalists in four Ciddies are seperated by seven votes.
The leading finalists in four Ciddies are seperated by nine votes.
The leading finalists in one Ciddie is serperated by eleven votes, another by fifteen votes and the biggest lead is 17 votes.
I'd say that the leads of nine, eleven, fifteen and seventeen are all settled already and won't change. However, seven votes is reachable so you never know, and as for those first twentyfour with three (at the most) votes seperating the leaders, anything could happen.
So far, 64 members have made 2687 votes. The largest amount of votes to a single nominee is 25, with two finalists on 24. The least is zero, with four finalists stuck without a single vote.

Part IV of the End of Year Ciddies, 2004 Commentaries.
Welcome back. It's now part IV of the commentary series on the Ciddies. We have about four days left remaining in the voting, and already, there's still lot more time for voting to come in. However, I shall continue with my commentaries, whether you like it or not. This time around, I'll be focusing on awards 11-20. It's looking to be good so here goes!

What does it take to be nice nowadays? About everyone in the finalist is nice, and they all deserve this award. However, one winner, and too many potential winners. Anyway, it's almost a lock that Leeza should win this one, like she has in the past couple Ciddies, but she has a tough challenge, which should make this one be won by another female member. Her toughest opponents would be Xander, Rye, and Loony BoB. I think her winning streak will end here. Proto's Prediction: Xander.

Woo hoo! I have finally made it into the finalists for this. I've stayed true to my personal favorite ever custom rank that I ever made, "Maximum pr00tage." However, do I think it'll win? Unlikely, but I like my chances against the likes of "Baking Cakes...", being "Better than Denmark", and cows going "Ner ner...". However, ShlupQuack... "Perhaps She is a Man" or the "Carrot Master" could do better than mine. I put my hands down for the She-Man! Proto's Prediction: ShlupQuack.

You can't deny the fact that Award Guy has won this award more than anyone else ever had. However, there are now better signatures than his. We have Baloki, whose signatures never fails to amaze me. We have Leeza's Dr Unne drawings for a signature. We also have Del Murder's Godfather-styled signature. All are very well done, and the creators, whether it's the members in the running themselves, or someone else, should all take credit. However, I think Award Guy should take this one again like he has in the past. He took it away from me one time! *grumble* Proto's Prediction: Award Guy.
