I might have been, but it would still be pronounced <b>Ka</b>-lee-op!
...or maybe Ka-lee-<b>op</b>...unless Calliope says differently, of course, but I would still pronounce it Ka-lee-op because that is the way I have always pronounced it.

well, I don't know how the Greeks pronouced it, but anyone who watched the TV show or has been on a steamboat pronounces it with a PEE.
