yes guten tach is quite right. The right type is "guten tag" but in hessen you say guten tach. (hessisch is the spoken dialect in hessen)

The "favourite" is agruable, but us americans tend to like to spell it the american way. "Favorite"

By which you, of course, mean "I, as an American, prefer to spell it "Favorite"". Not everybody on this board (which is my favoUrite message board) is American.
