Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Game Cube.

I just picked up this game a week ago and here's what I think:

- The story is very intriguing, the several of places you visit and the incredible depth of the game is enlightening.

- Amazing graphics no doubt. The backgrounds are incredible and the character design is stunning as well.

- Sanity Requiem. This is a first when it comes to computer games, I think. Every time you encounter an enemy the gauge appears and slowly drains if you don't kill the monster before the gauge is empty. You can restore the gauge by finishing off the monster with a finishing touch.

I've only played about 2/3 of the way through it, and don't own it, but I'd say that it was a very good game. It was freaky, interesting, and very well designed. Too bad it didn't get more attention.

I thought it was a very, very good game. It's a shame that it didn't sell better. The sanity effects are really good. Some really had me tricked (like the error one, the one where your head explodes, and the one with the bugs crawling on the screen). Great story, too. Some parts are a little slow, though, but overall, the game is awesome.

I had lots of fun with this game. I beat it in all three ways possible.

Ditto for sephex. I really like how it isn't survival horror because the give you more than enough ammo to waste.

Yeah, it's a really good game. Lots of innovation and a neat story.
