FFI and FFII are available on the Playstation. FFIII you'll have to play on an emulator or import it as it was only ever released in Japan on the Famicom. Also, you can wait a half a year or so until FFIII is released on the new Nintendo DS.
You can buy Final Fantasy Origins, which includes Final Fantasy I and II. Final Fantasy III is not available on the PlayStation, which is the only reason why I don't own it :/
Final Fantasy 1 & 2 are also available for the GBA. As already said FF3 has never been released outside of Japan.

Is there a difference between Final Fanasy Origins and Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls besides the different gaming systems?
I think there's a new dungeon or something in the Dawn of Souls ones.. I can't remember what they are called..something about dawn or souls xD I don't know much about it actually. *useless* xD
