What did you call Tidus

Let's see, first time I called him Tidus, second--Tod, third, Ryan, and fourth--I took a dare from my friend and named him Tight-Ass (Tidus, get it? haha, ya I know aweful joke. XD)

From the title of this thread "What did you call Tidus" I thought you meant the pronunciation of the word Tidus. Do you say Tie-dus or Tee-dus? I used to say Tie-dus but got confused when James Arnold Taylor calls him Tee-dus in the "Beyond Final Fantasy" DVD thats free with the European version of the game. What is the correct pronunciation?

I always said Tee-dus, and correct pronunciation I think is Tee-dus because in KH they also said Tee-dus and Tie-dus is typical for english-speaking countries, in other countries people would say rather Tee-dus...I think...at least in japan for sure say Tee-dus

I called him barney because thats my name, i think tidus sounds better when prenounced "tie-das"

That's true, but then isn't his name Greek? There's lots of Tie-dus'es in Greek mythology and whatnot. . . I always said Tie-dus, and so did my friends, untill I played KH that is, then I got confused. . . I call him Tee-dus now. . . well actualy I call him Dumb-ass, but when I talk to other people. . . no he's always Dumb-ass

In my second game ever, (which I didn't finish, obviously, because it was just my friends up and us being stupid with the names) he was T'kevil, because one of my friends was dating a guy named kevin, and I wanted to keep the t-name theme.

My dad calls him Pants. and as a result of his being used to me playing ffx, he started calling Squall pseudo-pants -_-

I think it's sorta sad the lengths square went to to keep the voice actors from saying his name. It sounds sort of stupid: 'You, the newest guardian!'

The real punctuation is probably just like the name Titus (think of the sitcom on Fox a few years ago, or the guy in the Bible, whichever)

I do keep his name as the default, because it's easiest and I"m used to it^_^

In another game I just started, I named him, "Wooldoor."

After another character James Arnold Taylor, the voice of Tidus, plays. He voices Wooldoor Sockbat in the show, "Drawn Together."

Cree Summer, who voiced Lenne, voiced Foxxy Love in the same show.

And Tara Strong, the voice of Rikku, does the voices of Princess Clara and Toot Braunstein. (If you listen, you'll hear the similarities between Clara and Rikku, voice-wise.)

The first game I played through, I named him Alex. Named after yours truly.

On my second game, I named him FantasyD.
