Feathers of a phoenix, which when sprinkled on the corpse of one of your dead, brings them back to life, minus the craving for human brains. Usually.
But after Aeris is stabbed by Sephiroth, you could drown her in it, and it wouldn't make a speck of difference. Much like Galuf's sacrifice to lay an old-school beat-down on X-Death in Final Fantasy V.
Some people in this thread don't seem to understand how to mark their spoilers.
I really thought we were past all this.
