If I ruled my own country, I would perform massive agricultural experiments to try and find the best way to feed my people in the most communistic way possible.

I would put restraints on the amount of children women could have. I'd make them get their tubes tied after about 5, if at all possible.

I would, initially, control all of the land and give crappy government slim-like apartments to every person who wanted to live in my country.

I would also intitute a massive public education deal. Anybody who lives in government housing gets educated in reading, writing (Not creative writing), law, business, and math. The kind of things which prepare a person for the world. If they excel, they will proceed to classes about entrepeneurship and the businesses of their choice!
Everybody will have the means, and, hopefully, the desire to go out, start a business, and make something of themselves!
(If people want to start private art schools or theoretical schools on political science and whatnot not taught by me, that's fine. Private schools would, of course, be too pricy for the unsiccessful citizen. Hopefully, they'd be another goal for the poor to strive for.)

My plan is to eliminate all mercy for the poor, the unsuccessful, and the !? uneducated ?! There will be no uneducated. There will be no starvation! There will be no homelessness. If I have to, I'll start enforcing that women without jobs or husbands cannot have children at all. (And if the husband doesn't have a job, then his wife can't have a kid)

After that, I would allow capitalism to run rampant. Like Shadow Nexus was talking about in another thread. NeoLiberalism! Or Anarco-Capitalism! Government free corporations!
All I'd ask for in return are the taxes to run my country.

If people want to build houses and sell them or live in them, then the lost govenrment housing space turns into a farm!

My plan is to eliminate hunger and homelessness straight off the bat.

Anyway, I'd try to create the most economically stable country while still allowing the helpless people to survive in their own way. Once businesses spring up, maybe I'll give the poor families just enough food to survive. And only vegetables. Like 2 avocadoes a day. HAHA! (Apparently, Castro does this)
The lower class would either leave my countr and call it barbaric and wicked or else they'll use their newfound intelligence and learned skill to help me make my country rich enough to support the little bastards who they once were.


Of course, who knows if anything like that would work. Chances are, people would let communism run it's course, not take advantage of their education and business resources, and live on vegetables with clogged toilets and leaky rooves and 10 minutes of electricity each day until my country ran broke. But that's what I would try to do.

Maybe I'd force anybody who profusely refuses to make something of themselves to be farmers...
