It's Rikki, not Rikku! Rikku is a character from the game, Rikki Nakano is the singer of FFX. I think her voice is too high to my tastes, so she's not my favorite out of those. Utada Hikaru is pretty good and Hikari / Simple and Clean is a nice song, though I don't like it how the English version removes some of the melody for the sake of yelling "Please, oh, baby, don't go!" Jade's version of 1000 Words is really good, but I don't really like real Emotion. Koda Kumi wasn't included in this poll, but I think Jade's versions were better than hers. This leaves Faye and Emiko. Faye Wong and Eyes on Me is a very nice combination. However, I still prefer Emiko Shiratori and Melodies of Life. She sings it nicely in both Japanese and English, I love the song, and in FF Concert 2002, she performed Melodies of Life very well. So Emiko Shiratori is my pick.

What happenned to Kouda Kumi/"Real Emotion" (FFX-2)? Much better than the english version of that song for me

I'll pick Emiko though, since she seems to have the strongest voice out of them all to me, and can sing well in both English and Japanese.

My faves of the bunch are Emiko, Utada, and Jade.

OOoo...I picked both Faye Wong and Utada Hikaru. They're both amazing, and have voices that are enjoyable...to me. Personally, I just can't stand Rikki's high-pitched voice. It's a beautiful song, and she just sort of ruins it, for me.

But I like both Wong and Hikaru's voices equally. I won't choose.

Umm...have any of you ever heard Jade from Sweetbox actually sing? Real Emotion was a horrific song (to me anyway), but her actual songs are fantastic. She has an amazing voice, and I am surprised that Real Emotion/1000 Words ended up being so.... (well, lets be honest), crappy. I vote Jade

Her voice actress, Tara Strong, is actually a great singer. So long as she doesn't use her Bubbles voice.

I like the chick that sang Melodies of Life, the one that sounded all Irish. It reminded me of that one band-- the cranberries.

I also liked how Rikki sang suteki da ne

I've never heard the last two options, but out of the first three listed I would definitely pick Emiko singing Melodies of Life.
