I do NOT belive this!
I'm on the second disk and aftrer I've saved Garnet *named Yudas because there was no way she was going to be named Dagger* I've fought those rabbit dog things with Beatrix and Freya and Stieghner *spelled wrong i know* and now i;m heading to Treno. After Blank and Marcus save me and i fight that thing, i ride past Treno and then that thing is headed to this light. A crash, white light......white light...........................white light............that's when i realize that my game froze! I don't know what to do! I keep trying to get past it, but it always freezes int eh same place!
Please Help

Unfortunately, if you name Dagger "Yudas" the game will not let you proceed past this point, I made the same mistake the first time I played through. Sorry to hear.

No, not seriously. Your disc is probably scratched in a place vital to that point in the game. This is the best reason to take good care of your games. Try resurfacing your disc professionally. Most hole-in-the-wall video game trader stores have professional machines and will typically do it for free for you. Game Dr. is another option although it's not as reliable as professional resurfacing.

it doesn't even look scratched! man this sucks! I'll try that but....*looks at game* it doesn't look scratched I see dust though....

If there's any dirt at all, try cleaning it first, using disc cleaner or a clean, dry cloth. Sometimes that's all a skipping CD needs. If the problem continues, however, resurfacing might be your only option.

Like I said, most game trader shops that have the machine will usually do it for free if it's just one disc. I've had a local place do it for me before, although I also kind of knew the guy through frequently coming in on my breaks at school. If you can't find a place that has a professional quality machine, "Game Dr" might be your only option, I've heard horrible things from people about them although I've done games in it and they work just fine, they just look ugly on the bottom. This has happened to me before on the 2nd Disk. And has happened to me on my 3rd attempt. What I did to get it to unfreeze is to just open and close the playstation lid. It has worked everytime I have tried. Hope it works for you.

just go and buy a new disc I paid $2034.00 to go and get it reserfaced.
