I just beat ff9. Great ending (I got the long one). (SPOILER)I hope this spoiler works. Necron was a strange final boss, as he didnt accually die but just desided to spare the world. It was a great game, my favorite in fact. Now what do I play instead...

Play it again and try to get the Excalibur II (if you have quite a bit of free time on your hands). Otherwise, play Pikmin 2.
I don't think Necron can die, I think as long as the crystal exists he will too, also I think he spared them because he saw how strong the will to live was.
