    Unhappy In Trigger yes, but Cross not so much.

    In Chrono Trigger they did want to go save the future, as they saw what the future held when they got chased to the woods by the King's soldiers. In Chrono Cross, it was (At the end) somewhat about saving the future, but just more on just defeating the time devourer & saving Princess Schala.
