Wow, a lot of that list REALLY sucks. How in the HELL did Britney Spears, and RAP make a top 100 songs list of all time. And I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston, is any song more annoying?

I could blast most of this list to pieces, but I'll stop... for now.

What ruined the list for me was that bitch, Eminem, being on it. In a perfect world, that wouldn't have shown up, and Insane Clown Posse's "Chicken Huntin'" (Slaughterhouse Remix) would be in the top 10.

    I have #13, and #100 without looking.

Tracy Chapman song was good. Creep was good. London Calling was good. It's not all bad.

No one's gonna agree, everyone's got diff. tastes.

The list was compiled last year and doesn't consist of the most talented songs.

The list is decided on many factors, but the main factor is the test of time. Songs like Billie Jean and Lose Yourself don't require a lot of talent. Music isn't about talent, it's about expression. If it was about talent, the list would be full of classical composers.

The list depends on how popular the song is and how people like it. I try not to be too biased when it comes to songs and I respect many of the 100 songs VH1 posted, but obviously there are songs that I don't agree with. Like R.Kelly's I Believe I can Fly, how come that song isn't on the list? Or Elton John's Circle of Life? Eminem's Lose Yourself? Some songs are ranked too high or too low. But the songs are compiled based on numerous genres. It's like how someone mentioned rap being in the top 10, granted it's the least talented of any genre other than techno, but it's music. I'm sure many of you have heard a rap song that you just couldn't get out of your head. It's about how the song is expressed, and because many of us are not in the studios, none of us realizes how much effort is put into these rap albums. I always knew people like 2Pac and Eminem put a lot of hours into their music. Freestyle does not work in the music industry and they knew that. So please, don't bash a genre like that.

What the hell? There's only like two decent songs on there. Most of that doesn't isn't even music. And Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall pt. 2? THey have many better songs than that. And they don't even have the most covered song of all time on there (Yesterday by the Beatles). Nor do they have Bohemian Rhapsody which is one of the most recognizable songs ever.

I'm going to go listen to the Doors now. (Rarg, they don't even have the Doors on there. >:O)

Wow, not a single Beatles song, but Hanson made the cut? Strange and also, slightly insulting.

    Take care all.

Wow, did that bring back some memories. It also showed me that I never get rid of music even when I don't care for it anymore. O_o About the only songs I still listen to fairly often off this list are Sweet Child O' Mine and Enter Sandman. Oh, and Iris.

I don't agree with most of that. I agree with Jebus. "Hot in Herr" is not music.

I think only a few songs deserve to be on that list. I'm glad Eminem made the top five though.
