Right in the movie he's poor at the beggining and when he is blinded.
Why when you see him in the furute is he all of a suddon rich with many gadgets such as his walking stick ?

You see, Chewbacca, here, is a wookie, from the planet Kashyyyk. But he's living on Endor. Wookies do not live on Endor. What does this have to do with the case? Absolutely nothing! That's why he's so rich.

Well, after all he is a lawyer and they don't exactly live in cardboard boxes, but then again he doesn't work for evil (rich) people and gets paid with sports supplys and fish.
