tailz it "looks" random. Okay, maybe I wasn't clear enough. It shows that it is random on the mission brief but the weapon reward is ALWAYS the same. The question is what is that weapon.
Funny, because it's not even guaranteed to be a weapon. The rewards are the Peytral, 22600 Gil, 80 AP (or 160 with the Insignia), a "Dmg to Humans" Law Card, and one of the following:

Master Bow

I checked the Mission Reward FAQ on GameFAQs.com to get the complete list of available items. I already knew about the Peytral, the AP, and the Law Card (I've played this mission enough to get my Peytral's defense higher than that of Adamantine Armor), and I played it two more times to double check the Gil and to confirm the items.Wow! how did you get all them? *coughwalkthroughcough*

The normal attack range is the range from which a character can attack without using abilities. For a Soldier, the range is one square. For an Archer, the range is 5-6 squares. Choosing the longest range for each race (Hunter for Humans, Gunners for Moogles, etc...), what is the race with the shortest attack range? Of course, stating it like this really gives it away, but at least the thread won't die out.
