What did you name your characters?

The Aeris/Aerith debate.

I personally do not care what her "correct" name is supposed to be. Regardless, I will probably continue to call her "Aeris" until the end of time. "Aerith", to me, sounds like "Aeris" is attempting to be said by someone with a lisp.

I've always considered it to be subjective - each individual can say it however they please. I say "Aeris" because it's prettier; it flows easier and is more pleasant to my individual set of ears.

Funny how we don't feel like we are lisping with Sephiroth. Anyone realise they sometimes pronounce it "Sephiroph"? I realised I do that sometimes.

Funny how we don't feel like we are lisping with Sephiroth. Anyone realise they sometimes pronounce it "Sephiroph"? I realised I do that sometimes.

I think it has something to do with the vowel preceding the 'th' sound (an 'o' in this case, versus an 'i') or the overall structure of the word.

And my "Sephiroth"s a lot of times have more of an 'f' sound mixed in at the end as well.
