Their purported supernatural abilities include superhuman speed and strength , invisibility, hypnosis,being able to control heartbeat and breathing under enemy scrutiny , incredible stamina and agility.
The Pirate - typically some scurvy-ridden criminal who took to the seas for a life of pillage , rape and plunder which would invariably end on the hangman's noose.
