Even still there were a couple of reliable sites that of course were eventually shut down. Couldn't remember for the life of me what they were, though. I think even after Napster was shut down there were a few sites were you get a hold of mp3s, but I don't think there'd be any now. I try not to use KaZaA if at all possible, mainly because its pretty crap - even the hacked version.Originally Posted by jrgen

So, you're first ripping your CDs and encoding them with the WMA format, then you convert those to MP3? That's not a very good idea. The more conversions, the more quality loss. You should encode the songs directly to MP3. You can do that with several programs, for example CDex, which is also completely free.Originally Posted by borisnono
