I'm not sure about the official definition of IRC, but the chat server #eoff (the chat room) uses is an IRC server. It's like a chatroom standard. Programs like mIRC are used to access them, or even Eyes on Final Fantasy's own web client.

I can't say if I'll have a steady amount of time to give to this, but hell, I'm in. I'm in chat enough anyway.
