Default Entertainment Weekly's Entertainer of the Year is...

    Jon Stewart!

Kinda saw it coming, but still a great choice.

    Runners-Up:
    2. Mel Gibson

    3. The Cast of "Desperate Housewives"

    4. Jamie Foxx

    5. Michael Moore

    6. Kate Winslet

    7. Usher

    8. Gretchen Wilson

    9. Clive Owen

    10. Prince

    11. Jim Carrey

    12. Zhang Ziyi

A bit surprised that Jude Law didn't get on the list, but hooray for Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet!

This makes me happy. Jon Stewart is one of my favorite people ever.

    Zhang Ziyi.

Yes. She should be higher (like, erm, above Jon Stewart - no idea who he is), but it's good that she's getting recognition.

I don't see Ken Jennings on the list.

Therefore, the list is a failure.

To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.
    THIS is the ultimate team.

Gretchen Wilson #8? Man, that is <img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif>ed up. She's not entertaining at all. At least Shania Twain is a better looker and a better singer.

    But I don't mind the #1 choice.

I dont really like John Stewart much really. I hate the way he presents his jokes/humor.

Gretchen Wilson took the country music world by storm this year. Shania Twain did absolutely nothing. I'm glad that she's on there, even though I'm not that big of a fan of hers.

I've heard the name Jon Stewart, though I don't know who he is. He's probably on cable, which is why I wouldn't know (I don't have it).

Come on, Shania Twain's greatest hits...it's like...OMG!!!! In all seriousness, GW just talks about being a redneck woman(without realizing that there are numerous people who associate redneck with racism) and how she drinks and chews tobacco.

Granted, ST didn't do much this year except release a greatest hits compilation, but that's still more entertaining than what GW did.

I used to watch the Daily Show with John Stewart everyday back in 2002 when I could do such things like that. Is that show still around?

Obviously, I need to watch Comedy Central more.

I don't know 1/4 of the people on that list, so I can't really have an opinion on the entire list. I don't think Micheal Moore belongs on there, although I did enjoy F9/11.
