I was pratically raised with Anime around me... So I have to love it.
And What do you mean it's got bad art form? You should see american "cartoons" they distort them selves (I do like them a litlle but They look TOO much like drawings) Animes look as realistic as a drawing can with out going 3D. I aplaude them:catsmile:

Yeah, and the eyes are really the biggest body part. And they really do become heart shaped when the person that owns them sees something he loves. I peronally love some anime cartoons and totally hate others. Anime has just as many styles, if not more, than US cartoons. Maybe you just haven't found yours yet. Not all anime has heart shaped eyes or uber big sweat drops.

I can't say I really like anime. I have nothing wrong with it, really. And I don't care if a lot of people I know watch it. But, the only thing I have against it is how a lot of people become so obssessed with anime that it's the only thing they talk about and they see it as practically their life, it's just.. well, I find it really annoying sometimes.
And, I don't see really any cartoon realistic. Japanese, American or wherever. I thought that was the whole point of cartoons.
He's right you know, but what is more terrible than anime is the obsessives who allow it to take over their lives, or cosplayers.
Or people who find Cosplay erotic, theres a special corner of a distant hell reserved just for them.

Everyone has their own opinion, and I respect that. I personally enjoy anime. I prefer its animation style to American. I also like the stories. There are some really stupid animes out there, but then, there's also some really stupid American movies and cartoons as well. Wether or not anime 'sucks' is all just opinion.
In case you didn't read any of that, I disagree.
The anime genre is so diverse it is impossible to stereotype it on just a handful of shows that you might dislike. If you choose not to watch it that is all well and good, but it is annoying when people stand up and start blathering about how anime sucks without having any real knowledge on the genre. If you've sampled a good amount of the anime out there, then you're free to say that. If not, you are ignoring the facts, and thus I can safely say you have no idea what you're talking about.
I have seen a bunch of anime out there.And how can you not see a bunch of it if every persons sig has an OMG INUYASHA LOOK LOOK or DBZ RYU OMG! or OMG KAWAII!!!
You probably saw the crap like DBZ and whatnot. :rolleyes2 especially if you were a kid. The better stuff is 13 and older most of the time.
