not alot. it can be soaken up with a few towels. and it only floods if there is like a tornado because it is raining so much
I'm scared of my basement..
While mom and I are down there looking for something my sister, coming down the stairs, was making a really wierd noise that sound like a ghost wailing and it actually fooled us. Then I started dreaming about a ghost in our basement. O_O
ha ha! there is this old coal shaft thingy in out basement and we opeaned it once and found bat bones! it was creepy.
My room back home is a basement room and I love it. If I shut my door I have complete darkness any time of the day. Total privacy any time of the day. It can be cold in the morings in winter but usually the nights are okay. As far as grasshoppers, in the summer I fall asleep to the sounds of grasshoppers chirping around. I have my own bathroom down there too. I used to have a pet spider who lived in it

they aren't grasshoppers they are evil mutant CRICKETS!
