Destroy the arms. Auron and Kimahri are the best candidates for that job. After that, you can use Yuna's summons, Valefor and Ifrit, to clean house with that freaK.

You'll have to fight it, again, but this time, Seymour will step in. He has tons of magic, and should be a big help in making short work of Sinspawn Gui.

Is this the boss you fight underwater with wakka while traveling on the shoopuf

Well done mirage but i think kathryn needs a little more info then that.
if it`s the boss i`m thinkin of then using tidus delay attack and haste and wakka just attacks while using potions when they need them
