X is my fave final fantasy,
i didnt feel that X-2 was all that nesecary, i liked the way the story ended in X,
i am glad that they did a 10-2 tho, because 10 is my favourate

10-2: a fun game, i dont play it to take the plot seriously, i just play it to have fun

i was stuck on seymour at mount gagazet for ages, so what i did was this
got all my ppl overdrives
got all my aeons overdrives
whooped seymour with overdrives then got the aeons out
you get one move with the aeon before he banishes them so use the overdrive
use hastega if possible as it helped me.
have the characters with highest hp out for most of the battle incase he uses crosscleave
have yuna out for the aeons

Not necessarily, i liked X because the story line was more emotional, and i liked X-2 because you could choose where you could go, and choose what missions you wanted to do and all that stuff. I honestly think that both games are equally great for different reasons. It has nothing to do with me playing X-2 first.
FFX. But Emily, X-2 is great 2. But I have to go fer X. *Tidus is still alive!!!* Shuyin creeps me out.
In my opinion, X was more into action and adventure, it focused more on the mission and the fighting...as X-2 has more of drama...and some o my friends consider it to be a musical...but I still think they are both good...

i did like X-2 a hell of a lot, however X was just miles better. The sphere grid and the battle system where exxelent and it's the first FF i felt i couild get into and level up easily without having to try very much, you know i hate having to sit around for ages and level up. But i feel they could have done somthing better with the level up system, made it easier to get S.lvls but hey.
in conclusion, X was much better that X-2
Well um..to say this, I like X better, I bought X-2 on the first day and sold it the week after!!! I thought it was horrible. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT play X-2 Before X then you won't think X is better than X-2. X is longer, cooler, more fun (I would use funner but that is not a word) more characters and it's just...COOlER! X-2 has about the same graphics but I think a tiny bit better, they put to much effort into the Graphics. X-2 just RUINED the whole storyline of X. X was a calm, emotional tragic game that is serious and sad. Now in X-2 it's just OOO IT'S FUN AND JUMPY! LET'S ALL GO FIND TIDUS! LA-DI-DA-DI-DA! Now that screwed up the whole game.
