well iv just done an IQ test (on http://www.bbc.co.uk/testthenation/iq/ so its not a poo one!)
and i got 120!!!
does that mean i'm clever...ish???
i did one ages ago and i got 116 so i'v gotten cleverer!

EDIT: and IQ isnt how smart you are. Its the ratio of your tested mental age compared to chronological age.

176 would make you some kind of mathimatical genius. And a good 10 points over the average nobel award prize winner.

No, 100 is average (that's what I've heard anyway). 97 means you're just about normal. Not particulary dumb, not particulary smart. I get about 110-120 myself. Some of these tests focus a bit too much on how much you know too. And even if your IQ isn't too high when it comes to logical problems, it might still be much higher when it comes to social issues.

100 is average, this would suggest that, according to the test, your mental age is at the same level as your chronological age. I've gotten 70s and 80s on them and I've also gotten 130s and 140s. Personally, I think IQ tests are inconsistent and thus, flawed. A better statement of intelligence, especially on an internet forum, is being able to make good, logical posts and threads.

Internet IQ tests are never valid. Ive ranged from 117 to 164 on online IQ tests. Ive never taken an official IQ test where they actually put you in a room and time you and stuff. The fact that I could score slightly higher than Albert Einstein on an IQ test shows that it isnt valid, in my opinion. I don't feel like taking this test right now, but I will take it later, and post my score. Even if the test isnt all taht valid, it still feels good to get a high score.

I remember when I took the BBC one for the first time, it showed me pictures of British people and acted as if I was supposed to know who the hell they were. I laughed.
