    Well, living off the elf-bread and whatever you can scavenge isn't exactly fattening. They probably got in really good shape on their journey.

    He's wearing shoes, how very unhobbit-like.

    I once saw three of the hobbits at a local Korean BBQ place, but they were niether short nor hairy. Or actually...they were kinda short, but not exactly of hobbit stature.

    Speaking of hobbits, has anyone ever heard the bad song, "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins?" You'd be surprised to know who did it, if you didn't already.

    Sorry , but ... don't you think people affected by " dwarvism " ie. " vertically-challenged" people will be offended by being classed as " hobbits " or " halflings " ... even though they're clinical dwarves ... ?
